Kevin worked very hard to make this surprise a perfect one for Alexa: he arranged for both families, half of whom flew in from out of town, to arrive early at the spot, where we then directed them into hiding down on the beach. The RH Rooftop Restaurant in Marin is an elegant fine dining establishment located atop the Restoration Hardware gallery. The restaurant area is inside a greenhouse-like structure with beautiful greenery, crystal chandeliers, and a trickling fountain under a glass ceiling, and outside there is an empty area with a great view of Marin — all in all, a wonderful setting for a proposal!
