We spent a lovely evening with Ruth, the mother-to-be. Ruth wanted us to capture some yoga poses that connect her with the baby. With some help from the gorgeous lighting that day, we got some stunning shots at the park! Did I mention that Ruth is also a fellow Canadian? Best of luck with your growing family, and we can’t wait to see the baby!

Max and Renee are our close friends. We had the privilege of being their maid of honor and best man at their wedding last August, and David actually proposed to me that night under a meteor shower right after their wedding so it was a special night for all of us. Since their one-year anniversary is approaching, we wanted to gift them a special photo session at Shoreline Park in Mountain View and the Hakone Japanese Gardens in Saratoga. Their friendship means a lot to us and we can’t wait for them to be a part of the bridal party at our wedding this October! Yay!!! Happy anniversary, Max and Renee!

Brad and Lita are having their beach wedding in Maui. How romantic and exciting! They wanted a different theme for their engagement shoot, so they did their homework and visited a few places before settling on the redwoods at Huddart Park in Woodside, CA. We got a little lost on our hike through the woods but it was fun!

We had the pleasure to photograph the 7th anniversary for Stephanie and Jon! Although the city and the Golden Gate bridge were shrouded by thick fog, it created a romantic feel for all of their images. For the entire session, all I saw through my lens was peace and love — please enjoy their photos.

This is a special session for us. We were originally contacted by Anu’s sister to give Dhanesh and Anu a “save-the-date session” because this lovely couple is getting married this December in India. An hour before the session we got a call from Anu’s sister telling us there was a last-minute change of plan — Dhanesh was going to surprise Anu with a ring! We were sooo excited and rerouted to get this couple some roses 🙂 We told Anu for the first set of photos we wanted them to stand back to back with their eyes closed, and when Anu turned around and found out what was really going on, she was in complete shock. Love every single photo of her priceless facial expressions — let these photos speak for themselves…
