Jed had a planned a weekend getaway on the Mendocino coast with Katie, and originally he was going to kick it off by proposing to her once they had arrived. As the plan solidified though, he eventually decided to do it at the beginning of their trip so that they could fully enjoy their wine tasting and glamping trip as an engaged couple. D&A’s wedding was a uniquely special one for us. Our first encounter with this wonderful couple was at their intimate COVID-era wedding last year. From the start, it was clear that they were a down-to-earth, genuinely sweet couple who weren’t looking to be the center of attention, but just wanted to cherish every moment spent with family and friends. Josh and Katelyn’s proposal story was a super unique and special one: they went out for a nice dinner together, and when they came back to their apartment, Josh proposed in the middle of their apartment with a wall of memories surrounding them. He had sneakily printed out lots of their photos that he had collected over the years and built a hanging garden of photos, full of their past together, suspended by strings attached to the ceiling.
