Vineesha loves art and art galleries, and she also has a special bond with New York so Ankit incorporated all these elements into his surprise proposal. He chose the Christopher Hill Gallery in Healdsburg, where the two had their first date. Ankit asked an artist to draw four paintings that were originally photos with a special meaning to them. With the help of the amazing staff at the gallery, scattered hints were left here and there for the couple to find as they walked around. Ankit guided Vineesha into a back room where two final pieces were waiting for them. Vineesha knew something was up as soon as she saw the painting of herself and the look on her face was priceless!! Ankit popped the question while she was still in shock and of course she said yes! Ankit also arranged for their family and friends to join them shortly after the proposal. Champagne, cupcakes, happy tears, and lots of blessing — it made our day 🙂

We strolled around Baker Beach for some fun photo time with Doug, Liz, and their handsome Corgi mix, Tank. Doug and Liz are an outdoorsy couple who love craft beer, so for their engagement session, we photographed them sitting on the beach watching the sunset, drinking their beloved craft beer in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, and running around playing with Tank! Have you ever met a couple for the first time yet felt that they were your longtime friends? Meet Kim and Brandon! They were madly in love and super laid-back and fun. And on top of all that, Kim is a singer and song writer (anyone who knows me would know how important singing is to me)! When Kim sang the song called “Feels Like Home” for Brandon during their ceremony, it touched my heart and I teared up. Her voice was beautiful!! Kim and Brandon made a lot of the wedding details themselves and we loved the Western-themed details throughout the whole wedding. When Tim first contacted me I knew this surprise proposal was going to be one of a kind! He originally set the proposal at the beautiful Auberge Du Soleil restaurant but unfortunately the venue has a policy that doesn’t allow professional photography. After some research, Tim found Viader Vineyards and Winery — a hidden Napa gem with breathtaking views overlooking the Valley. And thanks to the super accommodating staff there, they made sure things went as smoothly as possible.
