Sara & Michael’s South San Francisco Backyard Wedding | Bay Area Wedding Photographer
Sara and Michael held their beautiful backyard wedding at Sara’s mom’s lovely house in South San Francisco. I can’t think of a more meaningful way for the couple to celebrate their memorable day than to be surrounded by all their close friends and family in the home where the bride grew up. You’ll have to see it to believe it — with the help of family and friends, they turned their humble abode into a romantic and stunning wedding venue! The colorful floral arrangements, the amazing assorted cakes(!!!), the handwritten wedding signs, and the romantic twinkle cafe lights all came together to make this wedding special and FULL of love! And beyond that, what made this wedding truly unique were the personal touches: the wedding rings, handcrafted by Michael’s father with a diamond passed down through the family; the surprise musical performance by the family; and even Michael’s great Darth Vader Star Wars tie! Browse their wedding photos below and join us in wishing them a happy lifetime together!
Bonnie’s Maternity Session at Vasona Park | Los Gatos Portrait Photographer
Bonnie and Jud (and their dog Georgia) decided to have me document a beautiful moment of theirs before their first baby girl Vivian arrives in this world. Let these photos remind us all how beautiful motherhood is!
Vivian, I can’t wait to meet you in a month 🙂 I bet Georgia is anxious to share some love with her little master too!
Hannah & Daren’s San Francisco Engagement Photos at Moraga Street Steps and Sutro Baths
Hannah and Daren live in the city and took me to a hidden spot in their neighborhood — the colorful tiled steps on 16th Ave. We walked over the top of the steps and around a hill that had a breathtaking view overlooking San Francisco, and we ended our session at Sutro Baths as the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. Ankit’s Surprise Proposal to Vineesha at the Christopher Hill Gallery | Healdsburg Wedding Photographer
Vineesha loves art and art galleries, and she also has a special bond with New York so Ankit incorporated all these elements into his surprise proposal. He chose the Christopher Hill Gallery in Healdsburg, where the two had their first date. Ankit asked an artist to draw four paintings that were originally photos with a special meaning to them. With the help of the amazing staff at the gallery, scattered hints were left here and there for the couple to find as they walked around. Ankit guided Vineesha into a back room where two final pieces were waiting for them. Vineesha knew something was up as soon as she saw the painting of herself and the look on her face was priceless!! Ankit popped the question while she was still in shock and of course she said yes! Ankit also arranged for their family and friends to join them shortly after the proposal. Champagne, cupcakes, happy tears, and lots of blessing — it made our day 🙂
Van & Matt’s Wedding at Union Hill Inn, Sonora | Northern California Wedding Photographer
I can’t wait to share with you Van and Matt’s stunning wedding photos! Their wedding was like a dream come true with a breathtaking chapel ceremony and a reception that was full of surprises. It started with a DIY boozequet that Van made herself — a beautiful, handcrafted silk bridal bouquet with a metal straw for drinking the beer cleverly hidden in the base… genius! She also designed her own dress, incorporating Vietnamese culture into their American-style wedding. [ read more … ]
