Vivian | Los Gatos Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Meet one-week-old Vivian! She is such a great little model with a good temper and she sure knows how to smile at the camera! Bonnie and Judson were constantly amazed by Vivian’s daily change. Let’s see… Vivian lost her umbilical stump to reveal her new belly button on the day of the photo shoot, and she had just learned to put fingers (sometime her whole little hand) into her mouth and make funny sounds with it. She has so many facial expressions and I got some really cute ones!

Bonnie and Jud’s puppy, Miss Georgia, joined us at the end of the session and she was soooo happy but very gentle towards Vivian — it melted my heart! She gave out lots of sweet kisses and we got some great family pictures for the four of them 🙂

We just love all the smiles and laughs in Doug and Liz’s wedding photos. The smiles on EVERYONE’s faces said it all — it was a sweet celebration of Doug and Liz’s love and lifetime commitment to each other, and it was a fun party! These two are the kind of couple who spread positive energy to everyone around them. Their exceptionally dapper little pup Tank was happy to receive lots of attention, especially during the ceremony, and we got some cute shots of him. [ read more … ]

Kristen & Mark’s Sailboat Engagement Photos at Coyote Point Marina | Bay Area Wedding Photographer

A few days before their engagement session, Kristen and Mark emailed us and requested a change of plans — instead of shooting in the city, they wanted to have their engagement photos taken on a sailboat that they just bought. David and I said to ourselves, “OMG yes please!!!” We’ve always wanted to shoot some romantic and fun photos on the water, and a sailboat is such an ideal spot! The water at the Coyote Point Marina was calm and serene, the weather was clear, and the sun was golden. Kristen and Mark couldn’t have picked a better spot, and more importantly, they as a couple turned this session into perfection! They way they looked at each other and made each other smile and laugh was memorably cute. They’re such a great match! [ read more … ]

Timil & Komal’s Surprise Engagement Proposal at Crissy Field | San Francisco Wedding Photographer

Coming all the way from Texas, Timil & Komal visited our beautiful city of San Francisco last weekend. What better place to propose than on the shores of Crissy Field with the Golden Gate Bridge spanning across the Bay as the backdrop?

After arriving at Crissy Field, we followed the couple down the trail along the beach and snuck in a few shots here and there while Timil & Komal walked and talked. When he dropped down on one knee, we saw so much emotion on her face, and it was really touching even though it was only our first time meeting them! Such a great moment. [ read more … ]
