Eric and Erin chose to have a very intimate ceremony at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden, witnessed by Eric’s sister and brother-in-law (and me!). The two of them exchanged romantic love letters and wedding gifts before their “I do’s.” Interestingly, they know each other so well that they even got the same card for each other. How cute! Originally from Texas, Krysten came to California and fell in love with Kevin, the first cowboy that she met here. Before moving back to Texas, they decided to take some engagement photos here at Thornton Beach. David and I had a ton of fun shooting with Krysten & Kevin and we think the photos really show who they truly are as a couple: some football on the beach followed by a super fun powder paint fight, a western theme with a cowboy hat and boots, and finally some gorgeous ocean sunset photos. Such a sweet and energetic couple!

Marie and John got married at one of our favorite venues in Half Moon Bay, the Long Branch Saloon and Farms. Marie had been collecting vintage plates over the years, and along with their thoughtfully-designed table centerpieces, they made each table a perfect, unique, rustic setting that wowed everyone. Another round of the Norwoods’ yearly family photos — how time flies! This year Peter and Jeanette decided to have the photos taken right at home. The landscaping in their backyard was done right before we had their session, and what a beautiful place they had, both inside and out!! And my favorite little model, Aaron, simply rocked this session again!

It was drizzling on Kristina and Huy’s engagement session but that wasn’t a problem for us at all! The colors in their photos turned out to be very pretty and we got the entire palace to ourselves.
