It’s always great to have couples who don’t quite take themselves too seriously. Laura Beth & Andrew are a wonderful couple who just can’t stop smiling and laughing with each other. They’re cute and perfect together — and it’s the candid laughs and real interactions that I loved so much about this session. And we still got plenty of romantic portraits, like the ones you’ll see below 🙂 The golden sunset and textured skies certainly didn’t disappoint either! One of the best parts about my job, second to getting to know so many wonderful couples and learn their stories, is visiting new places! Sycamore Grove Park isn’t even far from home, and if you were driving by you might think it’s just another park — but inside, it’s absolutely wonderful for photos! Bruce and Hannah are cute, lovey, and total goofballs. We felt like the two of us had a lot in common with them (mostly the goofy part), and I think it helped make for a perfect engagement shoot! We started off at Gott’s Roadside at the Ferry Building, as food is a big part of their lives and they often like to spend time with each other there. We were beyond happy when we heard from Teryn and David a few months after their wedding, telling us that they were expecting an addition to the family! Fast forward to a few months later, we met them at one of our favorite spots, the Arastradero Preserve, for their maternity photos in Palo Alto. This engagement shoot was an absolute dream for us. Carmen & Michael had the great idea of doing their engagement photos inside the San Francisco ISAIA store on Maiden Lane, where they often visit to shop and enjoy some drinks. It’s an Italian luxury menswear brand located in a unique, beautiful building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and from ceiling to floor, this place is pure eye candy for a photographer.
