We’ve waited almost a year and a half for Lauren & Jeff’s B.R. Cohn wedding, and if we were in love with their engagement photos last fall, then we’re absolutely over the moon with everything about their wedding day. This was one of those weddings where we not only really enjoyed ourselves from behind the lens during all the action, but we constantly find ourselves smiling again and again, every time we look at their photos or think back to their wedding day. Kim & Raoul met in one of my favorite cities in the world — Vancouver! Maybe I had even bumped into them unknowingly many years back when I lived there too 😀 For their engagement photos, we hit up the very distinctly San Francisco location of Baker Beach for their beach sunset engagement session. There’s a great amount of variety here, with woods, beach, and a Golden Gate Bridge view all within a few minutes’ walk. It was super empty that day, and it was as if they had the whole beach to themselves!

I got to first meet Emily and Josh just two days before their San Francisco City Hall ceremony, at Emily’s best friend’s wedding where she was a bridesmaid. (And of course they returned the favor — you can see Jess & Jason in some of these ceremony photos!) They’re a cute couple with lots of love for each other and for those around them, and you can see that the atmosphere during their ceremony was appropriately lighthearted and fun. [ read more … ]

Last spring, Evan proposed to Ashley at the park where they first met (pics here!), and this summer, the two joined together in marriage at their California Academy of Sciences wedding. The Academy was a really unique setting for their one-of-a-kind wedding day, and the science-themed venue (it’s an actual museum, after all!) was super fitting for the two of them. [ read more … ]
