Arthur’s Surprise Marriage Proposal to Nicole at Sutro Baths | San Francisco Engagement Photographer

Arthur had been planning for this moment for a long time and contacted us more than a month in advance to discuss the location and logistics as getting great photos was very important to him. He and Nicole are both active duty in the Coast Guard on opposite coasts, so it’s been really hard for them to find time together. I’m glad Arthur was able to take some time off and come to this beautiful city of San Francisco to pop the big question, and I’m sure that week must have been very happy and exciting for them!

We shot these photos at the ruins of Sutro Baths, right on the ocean coast. The weather was picture-perfect — super windy two days before and rainy the day after, but clear with beautiful textured clouds on the big day. Congrats Arthur & Nicole!
