Alex & Andrea’s Sunrise Surprise Proposal at the Golden Gate Bridge

There’s something magical about morning light in the Bay Area — especially when it involves a sunrise surprise proposal overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, and the Bay.

Alex knew he wanted to pop the question at one of the most iconic views in the world, but he also wanted the moment to feel quiet and private. So he picked the best time to beat both the crowds and the harsh midday sun: sunrise. Fortunately, both he and Andrea are morning people, so the early wake-up call was perfectly normal for them. (Meanwhile, we are very, very much not morning people… but for a proposal shoot here? No hesitation!)

We kept an eye on the forecast, waited for a morning with clear skies, and headed out before the sun came up. As the first light spilled across the hills and the city skyline started to glow, Alex got down on one knee, and of course, Andrea’s reaction was everything.

This proposal had it all: a stunning view, a golden moment, and much love and excitement from the two of them. We can’t wait to see what’s next for these two!
