Roman & Maiia’s Romantic Surprise Proposal at the Bixby Bridge

Big Sur is a dream destination for many, with its breathtaking views and iconic landmarks like the Bixby Bridge. For Roman and Maiia, it became the perfect backdrop for a memory they’ll treasure forever.

Traveling from out of state, the couple had planned a scenic stop at the bridge to take in the stunning sunset. As the golden light lit up the cliffs from above and the Pacific waves crashed down below, Roman had a little extra surprise in mind. While Maiia admired the view, Roman returned to the car to retrieve a bouquet of vibrant red roses he had hidden in the trunk.

With the bouquet in hand and the dramatic coastline as their stage, Roman got down on one knee and asked Maiia to spend the rest of her life with him. Her reaction was pure joy — a mix of surprise, tears, and laughter. The love and excitement between them were as beautiful as the setting itself.
