Jonathan & Anne’s San Francisco Russian Hill Surprise Proposal

The only thing we enjoy more than photographing proposals… is photographing proposals for someone who’s highly organized and is a detailed planner! Jonny set up the perfect proposal for his girlfriend Anne and executed it exactly as planned, with the help of his brother and his wife, who had flown from New York, to place a few key items on the ground where he would ask the question. Jonny even made a shared Google doc to lay out the plan as well as everyone’s role to play, which we absolutely loved!

As Jonny and Anne walked up those steps to the quiet, isolated lawn atop Russian Hill overlooking the city and turned the corner, Anne saw the bouquet on the ground and at that moment knew what was going to happen. We slipped out from where we had been hiding and snapped away to capture the moment. Check out a few of the photos here!
