Xander & Andrea’s Davenport Beach + Henry Cowell Redwoods Engagement Photos

Traveling and hiking are a couple of Xander and Andrea’s favorite activities together, and it was quite appropriate that they got engaged at the top of Slackers Hill. And a few months later, they introduced us to two new (to us) locations for their engagement photos: Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and Davenport Beach. We were excited to explore these areas and had so much fun capturing some memories in a place that’s meaningful to them!

The redwood forest was a really magical place: lots of giant trees and layers of fall-colored foliage, but at the same time, also plenty of sunlight peeking through the canopy to give us vibrant, colorful photos. And usually it’s our couples saying this about us, but we have to thank X&A for making this shoot so enjoyable! We love it when our couples have fun and express their personalities during engagement shoots, and this was all of that and more.

Over at Davenport Beach, it was windy and freeeeezing cold, but anything for photos, right? Xander and Andrea (especially Andrea in her dress!) toughed it out for a set of photos under the soft, pink sky, and we’re so happy we ended at sunset here.
