Emily & Max’s Half Moon Bay Mavericks Event Center Wedding

Emily & Max’s story began in 2010 with a Birthright trip to Israel, and in 2018, they got engaged while on a trip in Canada. (See their engagement photos here!) Last month, they tied the knot at their Mavericks Event Center wedding in the beautiful coastal town of Half Moon Bay.

The morning began at the Inn at Mavericks, right next door to the venue. The boys and girls got ready in separate rooms, and the Ketubah was signed in parts. We love the Mavericks Event Center for its simple but beautiful ceremony space, right on the coast with the ocean as its backdrop. It made the perfect setting for Emily & Max’s ceremony and vows, which alternated between being entertaining and poignant. At the end of the ceremony, guests tossed flower petals as they danced their way back down the aisle as husband and wife, which was a fun moment for everyone!

You probably can’t tell from the photos, but it was super windy and a little chilly outside that evening… yet there was so much excitement and enthusiasm in the group that it didn’t slow things down one bit! Actually it seemed like everyone’s energy grew as the night went on — check out the dancing and bouquet toss photos at the end!
