William & Kelly’s Mount Tamalpais Surprise Proposal at Sunset

William and Kelly’s Mount Tamalpais surprise proposal was truly an unforgettable moment. On their first trip to the area from Canada, William wanted a quiet, private spot to ask Kelly the big question, and Mount Tamalpais provided just that — and, as it turned out, much more.

When they reached the top, they were greeted by a breathtaking, once-in-a-lifetime view — they found themselves alone above a thick wall of fog, with the golden glow of the sunset spilling over the clouds. It was like standing on the edge of the world. With this stunning backdrop, William got down on one knee and asked Kelly to marry him. Within just a minute or two of her saying yes, the entire area was enveloped by the fog, turning the scene into something almost surreal.

Not wanting to let the sunset escape entirely, we quickly raced down the mountain to Stinson Beach, where we captured a few more photos as the sun dipped below the ocean. Congrats William and Kelly on an amazing proposal!
