Josh & Katelyn’s Fairmont Hotel San Francisco Downtown Wedding

Josh and Katelyn’s wedding day was a beautiful culmination of their long journey together. They first met as high school freshmen in 2007, and 15 years (!!) after their first adventures together, Josh proposed in their San Francisco apartment in 2022. In his words, he “secretly looked at engagement rings, planned and plotted different options,” and decided to create a magical moment surrounded by hundreds of their photos hanging from their ceiling, capturing the essence of their relationship. We as photographers really appreciate how photos mean so much to them and were very excited to capture some great memories!

Their wedding day started at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Francisco, with Josh and his groomsmen enjoying the rooftop garden while Katelyn and her bridesmaids got ready in their room. The first look between Josh and Katelyn on the rooftop garden, with a private exchange of personal vows, was a sweet and intimate moment that set the tone for the day.

The ceremony at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church was filled with love and reverence. Afterward, we captured stunning portraits of the wedding party and the happy couple at Potrero Hill, near the church and just minutes from their apartment, before heading back to the Fairmont for a fun-filled reception. Their wedding was a perfect reflection of their continuing love story, surrounded by family, friends, and cherished memories.
