Dezmond & Sam’s China Beach Surprise Proposal

I had the honor of being a little part of a big surprise last week. With the help of a lovely group of friends, Dezmond planned out the perfect surprise proposal on China Beach for his girlfriend Samantha. The friends arrived early and placed a little blanket with some candles and flowers at the edge of the beach and hid in a secluded corner, where they could watch the moment happen while themselves being barely noticeable.

I was there to capture it all — the surprise, the emotions, the “yes,” and the celebration afterwards. It was a ton of fun! Everyone was super excietd (Sam most of all, of course), and I loved everyone’s colorful clothing against the light colors of the beach.
