Mekhi & Elona’s SF Beach Surprise Proposal

My favorite Bay Area weather is when we get nice puffy clouds floating across the sky, though this usually appears just before or after stormy weather, so it can be a little stressful in the days leading up to a surprise proposal! On the day that Mekhi had planned to pop the question to his girlfriend Elona, the weather was actually perfect: not a drop of rain in sight, beautiful clouds, soft light, and perfect visibility. The larger-than-usual waves crashed into the rocks down at Marshall’s Beach as they headed down to the beach that afternoon, and as Mekhi was giving his speech to Elona, one particularly sneaky wave managed to splash right into the two of them just moments before he got down on one knee.

Despite getting pretty soaked, there were no cold feet here — Elona was elated to find out there were getting engaged! It was an honor to capture this, and I’m excited to share a few highlights below.
