Chris & Ingrid’s Rodeo Beach Sunset Surprise Proposal

On a quest to find the perfect location for his marriage proposal, Chris started looking at potential places around the Bay Area several months before the big day. Eventually, he decided the cliffs overlooking Rodeo Beach would be perfect for a sunset surprise proposal to his girlfriend Ingrid. In fact, he even secretly visited the spot in person during the sunset golden hour to make sure it would look the way he wanted.

In quite the coincidence, on the morning of the big day, Ingrid actually went to this spot — she was training for a half-marathon, and the route took her right past here. And again she returned in the evening, but this time with Chris… and that’s when the surprise came out! As the two walked up the cliffs to the perfect spot, Chris asked if she’d marry him.
