Eli & Tory’s Alamo Square Park Surprise Proposal

Love stories often unfold in the most familiar of places, and for Eli and Tory, Alamo Square Park in Lower Haight has always held a special spot in their hearts as an often-frequented location in their journey together. So it didn’t feel at all out of the ordinary when, under the excuse that they were going to a friend’s birthday party, Eli brought Tory to the park for a morning walk. As they enjoyed the familiar sights, sounds, and smells, with the park’s beauty all around them, he surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. She said yes, of course — after taking a moment to realize what just happened!

But that wasn’t the end of the surprises. Eli had arranged for a celebration with friends afterwards, some of whom had traveled from far away to be there.
