Connie & Wilmer’s Wedding at The Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon

Over the past year and a half, we’ve had a truly splendid time following Connie and Wilmer’s story, from their casual, oceanside engagement shoot together last year to their more recent SF City Hall ceremony in a more intimate, stately atmosphere. By the time their wedding at The Bridges Golf Club rolled around, it almost felt like a family gathering to me, since I had already met the family… and we even found out that they actually live less than one mile from us — a stone’s throw from our favorite roast duck restaurant in the Bay Area 😛

Their wedding day last month added another dimension to the photos we’d taken previously: with so many friends and family in attendance, it was full of love and energy, with laughter mixed in with emotional moments throughout the day. And this beautiful outdoor setting in the hills of San Ramon was certainly a delight for our cameras! Connie and Wilmer started off the day getting ready separately at a hotel nearby, where they were joined by their wedding party and their sweet little pups (in the most adorable wedding attire). They each had a charming little gift to give each other too — and while both enjoyed each other’s present, I think Wilmer enjoyed his just a little bit more 😉

Over at The Bridges, Connie and Wilmer had their first look as soon as they arrived (the mini-tickle was a great way to say hi), and soon afterwards, they had the opportunity to say their vows at the gorgeous ceremony site with all of their guests in attendance. The dinner reception afterwards was a blast, with their first dance on a cloud setting the tone for the energy and mood through the rest of the night.
