Julian & Barbara’s Russian Hill Rooftop Surprise Proposal

I really enjoyed being a part of Julian and Barbara’s rooftop surprise proposal and hearing their story. This special moment happened on the roof of a Russian Hill apartment, and not just any one — this was the first apartment they had lived in together as a couple. Julian’s excuse was soooo smooth: according to him, they had to go back there to pick up some important mail that got sent to their old address, and it had to be at a specific time because the building manager would be gone after that. Brilliant!

In reality, the building manager was in on the whole plan, even helping Julian with the logistics leading up to the big day. She was as excited as the rest of us! Afterwards, she even brought a bottle of champagne for J&B to enjoy together up on the roof.
