Ali & Syeda’s Ocean Sunset Surprise Proposal

Before reaching out to us, Ali had done a bunch of research on locations for photos in San Francisco, and he really liked Sutro Baths. It’s a tough spot for surprise proposals (it’s tough to navigate + is usually very crowded), so despite my best efforts to steer him elsewhere, he knew this had to be the spot. After all, it’s absolutely one-of-a-kind, and there’s just no other place like it for such a beautiful ocean sunset surprise proposal. And of course, I totally understand — anything for the shot!

When we arrived, we played it off like we were doing a couples’ photo shoot, starting at the top and making our way down to the water at a relaxed pace. Once at the spot, we did our best to discreetly clear out the area so they could have a clean shot. And so it went… Ali and Syeda made their way to the middle of the reflecting pool, he knelt down on one knee, and popped the question! Take a look at the happy moment in the photos below 🙂
