Khin & John’s San Jose Boulder Ridge Wedding

What an exciting ride this has been… from one of our favorite engagement shoots to their absolutely beautiful wedding day, we’re super excited to share some photos from John & Khin’s Boulder Ridge wedding in San Jose.

The day started off at a nearby hotel with getting ready & some door games, which are always a lot of fun to watch and to photograph. For those who don’t know what that is, it’s an Asian tradition where the groom has to clear some challenges (e.g. which of the lipstick prints on this paper is your fiancée’s?) to gain access to his bride. John gave an impressive performance… though he did need a little bit of help on a couple of them 😅

When we arrived at the venue (this was our first time at Boulder Ridge), we were greeted by beautiful ceremony decor (we really loved the John 🤍 Khin neon sign!) in a breathtaking location, perched up on a hill with the San Jose mountains and valleys as the ceremony backdrop. It was absolutely stunning! From beginning to end (just scroll through the pics!), the entire wedding was full of love, laughter, and emotion between the bride & groom — and the whole family — and it was 10/10 a joy for us to capture. They even had a few family members take the role of videographers, and I’m sure that turned out amazing so we’re pretty excited to catch a glimpse.
