Kailynn & Nico’s Concannon Vineyard Wedding

First the proposal at Chappellet Winery, then back again for their engagement photos, and now their Concannon Vineyard wedding… as you can see, Kailynn & Nico have a certain interest in common! And this is just perfect for us as photographers since we absolutely loooove shooting at vineyards.

Kailynn and Nico’s love story goes way back to their high school days. (They even had a prom photo that we recreated on their wedding day — see if you can pick out which one it is!) As a result, the wedding was a very close group of friends and family, and I don’t think it was a surprise to anyone that this day was a blast both to attend and to document.

Concannon worked out to be a wonderful setting. Its outdoor ceremony area is right by the vineyards, which not only provided beautiful surroundings, but also allowed us to capture some unique angles not possible at many venues. The indoor reception in the barrel room provided a very different type of ambience with a very cool setting for the partying. (Literally cool — the very strong air conditioning turned out to be essential with how hot the sun was that day!) And there were just so many spots for photos — the vine tunnel, the brick wall, the vineyards themselves, I could go on — that between pretty portraits for Kailynn & Nico and all the fun moments of the wedding itself (like the speeches that were both touching and maybe a just a tad bit embarrassing at times), it was like an all-you-can-eat buffet for our cameras. We loved every second of this wedding and are so excited to share some of the highlights of their day.
