Nicole & Austin’s Rodeo Beach Trail Elopement

For Austin & Nicole, the cliffs above Rodeo Beach are as beautiful as they are special — it’s where they got engaged, and now, it’s where they joined hands in marriage to officially become husband and wife. We were lucky enough to have the honor of documenting these moments and spending an incredible afternoon with them!

Their ceremony was a special one: they each had a letter prepared, but knowing they’d both get super emotional, chose not to read them until afterwards. We spent the golden hour taking photos and video along the bluffs above the Pacific Ocean under the most beautiful sunset light, and just as the sun was disappearing into the ocean, they decided to open up their letters and read them before heading down the hill. Those were some of the most beautiful, intimate moments of the evening, and they immediately reminded us why we love elopements so much.
