Marcia & Jeff’s Chimney Rock Engagement Shoot
Chimney Rock is the very western tip of the Point Reyes cape, extending way out into the Pacific Ocean, and it offers beautiful coastal cliff views in every direction. This shoot with Marcia & Jeff was my very first time here, and I had a heck of a good time exploring the ocean bluffs with them.
I didn’t realize it at first, but Marcia has a bit of a personal tie to this place: she’s quite the animal lover (ok who isn’t… but she’s literally a vet!), and in the past had volunteered with the seals there. And we actually saw a bunch of elephant seals — even a few adorable little babies — that day sunbathing at the bottom of the cliffs. I thought that made for a cute connection 🙂
At the end of the shoot, we went to the Cypress Tree Tunnel for a few last photos. It was pretty foggy by that time, but the nice thing is that the tunnel was totally empty, like it was reserved just for us. Plus, the spooky feeling was kind of cool 🙂 Congrats to Jeff and Marcia, and I am so excited for their wedding next month!!
