Jonathan & Hillary’s Marin Headlands Slackers Hill Surprise Proposal

I absolutely love it when my couples are up for a hike, since it means we get to shoot at unique locations with stunning views and nobody else around, perfect for a private special moment. Jonathan was looking for a spot just like that to to propose to his girlfriend Hillary, and luckily, they’re both the outdoorsy type who enjoy hiking, so he and I planned a proposal up at Slackers Hill in the Marin Headlands. The light there can be incredible at sunset, so in order to time their arrival to be at just the right time, Jonathan brought Hillary to a brewery in nearby Sausalito in the afternoon to relax for a couple of hours first. When they arrived, Jonathan knelt down, gave a short speech, and — of course — she said yes!
