Lydia & Jessenia’s Engagement Photos at the Pearson-Arastradero Preserve

The last time we saw Lydia & Jessenia was one pandemic ago — yes that’s a unit of time now — when Lydia brought her girlfriend to the most scenic basketball court ever and proposed. A couple of weeks ago, we met up again for engagement photos. They had originally planned to do these photos at the beach, but some unexpected fog rolled in at the last minute so we ended up relocating to sunny Palo Alto (I shake my fist in the general direction of the fickle beast that is Bay Area weather) for engagement photos at the Pearson-Arastradero Preserve.

We had a lot of fun hiking around the trail together, and Lydia and Jessenia’s floral and black dresses made a perfect match for the warm, golden setting of Arastradero. (Looking back on their proposal, I’m sensing a clear preference in their fashion preferences :D) They were both super relaxed and chill, and I’m really happy that we were able to capture the love and connection between these two beautiful people in such a picturesque setting.

We can’t wait to celebrate their love and and document their wedding in just a few months!
