Nasim & Justin’s Thornton State Beach Elopement Portraits

The pandemic doesn’t stop love; it merely changes the way we celebrate it. Nasim and Justin had a private civil ceremony last week with their family in attendance over Zoom, and the next morning, the three of us went out for some elopement portraits. We started at San Francisco City Hall — a place that I’ve really missed, having not been there for over a year at this point — and although we didn’t go inside as it was closed due to the pandemic, we were able to get some photos along the outside of City Hall.

For a change of scenery, we headed to Thornton State Beach which, with its long cliffs, colorful vegetation, and ocean view, is in my opinion a super underrated spot. The rainy weather the day before gave us big puffy white clouds that matched Nasim’s wedding dress quite well 🙂
