Oscar & Darlene’s Pelican Point Beach Surprise Proposal

While in town for the long Memorial Day weekend, Oscar had planned to surprise his girlfriend Darlene with a very beautiful ring and a marriage proposal. I really loved his setup: simple and elegant, just enough to add a bit of an accent to an already beautiful bluff overlooking Pelican Point Beach.

Oscar had arranged for a couple of friends bring Darlene to the spot where he was waiting for her. As she approached, she realized what was happening and was absolutely overjoyed. This was such a happy proposal for me to witness and capture, and it was also an especially unique moment — at almost the exact same time, a different couple proposed & were engaged on the beach down below the cliff. Love was truly in the air that day! Congrats to Oscar & Darlene!
