Patrick & Heeyoung’s Golden Gate Bridge Surprise Engagement Proposal

Patrick had been planning his proposal to Heeyoung since late last year. He wanted Valentine’s Day to be the day for the two of them to officially get engaged, and chose Battery Spencer as the perfect spot for their Golden Gate Bridge surprise engagement.

San Francisco weather can work in funny ways. It had rained hard basically the whole week leading up to V-Day, and we had all been obsessively checking the forecast every day. You probably can’t tell from the photos, but there was only a short gap of a couple hours that day when the sun peeked out — it rained all morning and into the afternoon, and then the rain started again on our drive home!

We love the way Heeyoung beamed with excitement and joy and how perfectly everything worked out. Congrats to the happily engaged couple!
