Roberto & Corrina’s Pacifica Oceanside Surprise Proposal at Mussel Rock

Roberto wanted to propose to his girlfriend Corrina near the sea with a view of the coastline… and I knew just the spot for him. A few days before the big day, he took some time to drive out to Mussel Rock Park to scope out the place, and decided that the high cliffs with the shoreline, Pacifica pier, and crashing waves in the background would indeed be the perfect spot for his Pacifica oceanside surprise proposal.

As Roberto and Corrina pulled up to the area, I got my two cameras ready to go. Usually at a secluded spot like this, Annie and I would pretend to be taking photos of each other to avoid giving away why we’re really there, but since Roberto wanted just one photographer for this, I strapped a baby onto me right between my cameras so I wouldn’t look like a hired photographer. Don’t worry, it was my own daughter… I didn’t borrow a random baby 😛

When the moment came, Corrina was thoroughly surprised and elated, and the ring he picked out was a gorgeous one as well. I really enjoyed being there for this moment as it had everything I love — a stunning backdrop, beautiful lighting, and most importantly, incredibly genuine emotion. Congrats to R&C!
