Andy & Kate’s Proposal: Roses & A Piece of My Heart
Andy got in touch with me more than a month ago to start planning his proposal. Although he and Kate were already technically engaged and had made wedding plans, he knew that she needed to receive a proper proposal like every girl deserves. We worked out a plan for the two of them to walk around the Palace of Fine Arts, where he’d surprise her with a bouquet of roses and a note that he had prepared.
The bouquet and note were hidden in Andy’s car trunk, so when the time came, we found his parked car and, after trying all the door handles a couple times, realized it was locked. Luckily, we had been messaging each other and he had an app to remotely unlock his car, so we got the door open… and then searched everywhere but couldn’t find the trunk release. (We looked everywhere… for real!)
So here we were, two people standing around a random car at the Palace of Fine Arts trying to get into the trunk, not looking sketchy at all. We finally realized the back seat could be folded down. So I crawled in the trunk that way and got the flowers… also definitely not sketchy-looking 😀
We placed the flowers and Andy’s personalized note behind the tree trunk so that Kate would only see it at the last moment, and you can see the results below. We loved Kate’s beautiful smile and all the happiness in these moments. Their wedding is actually in just a few hours — congrats to the two of them!
