Steve & Tisha | Foggy Bay Surprise Proposal

Steve had been planning his proposal for several months and first contacted me way back in July. I knew he wanted his moment with Tisha to be perfect, memorable, and picturesque, so he and I talked about a lot of locations during the planning process, and he ended up picking the Marin Headlands for its sweeping view of the Bay and the city.

When the day came, I arrived early to scout it out and found our original spot to be totally shrouded in fog, so I quickly found a place nearby that was a bit lower and under the bulk of the fog. After they arrived and enjoyed the view for a few moments, Steve asked me (a convenient “bystander”) to take a photo of the two of them, just as we had planned, and I then led the two of them down to a small clearing away from the crowds.

Tisha had no idea what was happening during all this, but that quickly changed as Steve dropped to one knee and popped the question. I could see the emotion absolutely pouring out of her, and it was a really touching moment for me. I’m so glad I could be there to document this memory for S&T and to congratulate them on this next step in their lives together!
