A & C’s Sunset Proposal at Alta Plaza Park | San Francisco Hidden Proposal Photographer
A & C went for a stroll at Alta Plaza Park on a sunny Friday afternoon, like they had done many times in the past. This time, though, C had a little something planned: he brought a little box with a big surprise!
I had never been to this park before, so I arrived a little early that day to scout around a bit before the couple arrived. I’ve actually never enjoyed sitting around and waiting for a couple this much before. Before they arrived, I had so much fun saying hello to the dozens of dogs of all shapes and sizes that walked by. I think the dogs-per-minute ratio there far exceeded that of any other park I’ve ever been to, which made a great day even better. And they were all suuuper friendly and attention-loving!
Once A & C arrived, my assistant and I followed behind from a distance. C popped the question between two rows of beautiful blooming trees, with a nice golden view of San Francisco in the background, and of course she said yes. I loved watching A’s expression change from happily surprised at being asked the question, to shock and amazement at how beautiful her ring was, back to happily surprised, and then to just complete joy. After the proposal, we walked around the park for some more photos and unveiled a smaller follow-up surprise: C had arranged for me to bring some champagne and a pair of champagne flutes to celebrate the occasion! Finally, on my way out, I snapped one last photo (at the bottom of this page) of the two sharing the great news with their family & friends, and showing off that gorgeous ring.
I can’t stop smiling at these photos, and I think you, dear reader, will enjoy them too. Congrats to this happy couple!
