Spencer & Adriana | Marin Black Sands Beach Surprise Proposal

Black Sands Beach is a serene, peaceful beach nestled at the base of the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco. Despite its beautiful, fine sandy composition, its perfect position right at the inlet to the San Francisco Bay, and its great view of both the city and of nature, this beach is one of the quietest in the Bay Area. It’s a sizable beach, but has a relaxed, intimate feel because of how empty it usually is. I didn’t even know about this place until Spencer told me, and I’m very glad he did!

Spencer had been planning his proposal for a while, and as we got closer and closer to the big day, it seemed that the skies may not be cooperative. But that wasn’t a problem — he was fully prepared, rain or shine. I loved witnessing this moment between the two of them, so full of emotion and love, and I think it really shows in the photos below. In the end, we actually got a bit lucky with the weather, and rain started falling as I was heading back to my car. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple 🙂 #shejustsaidsi
