Ian & Heather | Proposal at Baker Beach

While on a weekend trip to San Francisco for Heather’s birthday, this pair of high school sweethearts (together for nine years!) made their way out to Baker Beach for a special event. Ian had put a lot of planning into his proposal, and he and I were afraid it was going to rain that day — but in fact, the weather turned out very bright and sunny, perfect for a walk on the beach!

Ian had given Heather a nice note for her birthday in the morning and had written another one for the evening. As they walked along the beach and came to a rest near a lone log, he handed her his note, waited for her to read it, and pulled out the ring box and knelt down. See their story in the photos below 🙂
