Billy & Louisa’s Wedding at Toby’s Feed Barn | Point Reyes Station Wedding Photographer
Louisa and Billy first met through OKCupid and quickly fell in love. They had a 97% match rating which sounds crazy high, but after seeing how full of joy they were on their wedding day, I’m surprised it’s not even higher! Last summer, after backpacking the John Muir Trail together and even climbing Mt. Whitney, they decided to get married.
Their wedding day was an ultra romantic one filled with love and happiness, and it started in two beautiful vacation homes at Point Reyes Station where they got into their wedding attire. I swooned over Louisa’s bridal look — her sheath wedding gown and the stunning chapel length veil gave her an elegance that we (and Billy) will never forget!! L&B exchanged their vows and received many blessings in front of the Giacomini Barn, then here — the highlight of the day — they had a wedding parade! Billy and Louisa led the way singing “I Would Walk 500 Miles” while walking across the little town from their ceremony site to Toby’s Feed Barn. Guitars, accordions, laughter, and singing, it was PERFECTION!!!
Before the reception started, we went back to the ceremony site to take some portraits by the barn. With clouds hovering over the mountains, Louisa’s veil rolling with the wind, and their well-behaved pup Olive posing adorably, we couldn’t have asked for more. The romantic vibe in their photos was just unreal, and we captured so many great candid moments between them two. Meanwhile, their family & friends were enjoying oysters at the cocktail hour — just like Louisa & Billy did at Hog Island Oysters at Tomales Bay for their first date. And the reception was a blast! Thoughtfully-written toasts, happy guests dancing under paper lanterns, well-chosen floral decorations, and an oddly pleasing fresh hay smell… everything was so great and the photos tell it all!
Congratulations Billy and Louisa! Can’t wait to share your beautiful photos with everyone 😀
